If there’s one thing Disney World does exceptionally well, it’s snacks. It’s like 75% the reason we go back so frequently. Like the rest of Disney World, they’re overly expensive, but these are snacks that become the highlight of your day, snacks you plan rides around, snacks you think about long after you’ve left the park.

Eating and drinking around EPCOT’s World Showcase is basically a rite of passage for adult Disney trips. Eleven countries (plus the Outpost), one continuous loop, and more snacks and cocktails than any one person should reasonably attempt in a single day, which is exactly why having a strategy matters.

New York City hardly needs an introduction. It’s the backdrop of countless movies, shows, and songs and the kind of place where every block feels like its own world. What makes the city so special is the sheer depth of diversity and culture woven into everyday life, from languages and food to neighborhoods that feel entirely distinct from one another. It’s exciting and overwhelming, yet somehow grounding in the best way.

Never let anyone tell you Disney World is just for kids. My husband didn’t experience the magic until he was 23, and now I’m pretty sure he loves it more than I do. Between cocktails around the world at EPCOT, incredible dining, and a heavy dose of nostalgia, Disney as an adult hits completely differently.
